I saw your siggy about looking for ways to kill writers block... the best way is to write about a topic. For instance, pick a random word and write a short story (500-1,000 words) using it as a theme. After a few different themes, your block will melt away :3

Theme ideas: duck, green, button, light, wish.
(these are all things I thought up looking at a small section of your deviantart page. topics aren't hard to come by :D (Big Grin) )

I should get as many as I can up as soon as possible! Also, I'll be going on a world-wide trip type thing where I'll be sure to get more of them :) (Smile) I'll probably be able to get the Japanese one up in a week or two.

I'll keep an eye out for it! ^_~ I'm going to California for my birthday, so I'm saving up for that, but I do hope to get some more matryoshka and/or kokeshi soon. Maybe even a maneki neko or a daruma!

I really love my Matryoshka and I've been looking for a set of Kokeshi. I actually don't own any of those, sadly. The Japanese doll I own is made of cloth and wears a purple kimono. I've had her since I was little :) (Smile)

I'd LOVE to buy a Maneki Neko too. I am allergic to cats, so buying a real one isn't an option. This means I collect stuffed ones and I'm hoping to finish off the collection with a Maneki Neko. I might buy one this year

I'm not a fan of Daruma though... I find them difficult to photograph.

Sorry it took me so long to reply. Life has been really hectic!

I have some kimono dolls myself, and I hope to get a chance to take pictures of them soon. Your doll sounds lovely!

Stuffed animals are great, both for comfort and for photos.

Why do you find Daruma hard to photograph?

XD Don't worry, I understand how life is... It's quite hectic for myself as well, especially right before spring break when I have science fair...

I actually got the photograph up. It should be in my photography folder in my gallery :D (Big Grin) I LOVE mine. My dad bought it for me when I was about five years old and I've had it ever since :) (Smile)

I just have issues posing them... For some reason, no matter how I arrange them, they just don't look right... >.< But I'll eventually get through that Sweating a little...
