I am about to repaint my Dark Eldar and I am having a similar predicament. I plan to reuse the scheme for the Archon and his Incubi that I drew inspiration from the Spawn costume for (I call them my Spawn-cubi) but I am having difficulty deciding on a scheme for the rest of the Kabal or for my Wych Cult. I love purple but I am really wanting something unique and purple, red, black and dark blue are all so common.
Perhaps do an image search of your favourite costumed crime fighters or villains from the comics or some other literary visual inspiration like I am doing. If I can help in any way let me know. We Dark Eldar have to stick together. Can't believe we are getting a Space Wolves update before a Dark Eldar release.
Do you have a name for your army? How large is it?

Rumor has it that the Dark Eldar will get an update by the end of this year. Then I can upgrade my 2000 or so points to something larger. I call mine Space Pirates mostly but the Kabal of the Bad Dice is a better description. I have units in red/silver and purple/black but royal blue and black with a little red looked unique and my wyches are in metallic green, which looks neat as well.

Yes... rumours... yet they are announcing an update for SPACE WOLVES of all things before anything about Dark Eldar which to me is just ridiculous. It is disheartening that they ignore a popular army choice in the way that they are.
I had considered green for the Wyches but I am not sure about that. Colour scheme for my revisions is difficult to decide and I want to begin with a plan in mind as I usually do. Thanks for the reply. It would be nice to see some of your minis.
