# About me

My name is Kristen! I've had multiple DA accounts over the years but I decided to finally consolidate my work to one account. For a while I was pursuing a degree in art education, but quickly found out I enjoy art more as a hobby. I am now a Nutritional Sciences student and still try to incorporate my creative side into my degree. However, art has and will always be my passion, and I would draw all day every day if I could.
I have always focused on traditional art - drawing, painting, etc. - and portraits are definitely my specialty. I've dabbled in graphic design in the past as well, and I have a strong interest in digital art, however I do not have any software or means to teach myself.
On here you'll see a fairly extensive portfolio beginning with some of my oldest pieces, lots of works in progress that I've never finished, a variety of portraits in a variety of styles, and lots of Avatar pieces because there are few things I love more. :)

Hello again, I got wondering, you ever though about drawing the scene between Avatar Roku and Fire Lord Sozin? They have a really interesting relationship that I think you could illustrate very well

I like your work so much because not only is it really well done technically, but from what I've seen you really capture the essence and emotion of the scene you're drawing.
