While Alfred meets almost all the qualifications to be a jock, he's far from being a bully. Maybe a bit too cocky, maybe a bit too truthful, but never downright cruel. In fact, if he can help it, he tries his best to be a "hero," which in Alfred's humble opinion (that he will shove down your throat) is someone who puts the needs of others before their own. This, paired with his swelling adoration for all that is red, white and blue may be why the adolescent dreams of joining the military. It might also be why he sometimes throws on a maroon hoodie with a black mask and mussels around the city streets fighting crime.

It had been a day like any other when the foundation was school hours. Just the same as always for nearly all; including this young lady here herself, but what could you expect, she was your typical student. Maria tried to stay at her current level with grades, trying for each class as students should even when it could be a struggle. Social life was never a problem, so as a result everything seemed to be going normally. Everything seemed good.

However on top of that she was lucky enough to call a certain dorky quarterback her close friend - and what came with the ever-so-challenging job? Being supportive and all that good stuff. How tough, ey?

It was a Friday afternoon, a bit past 5 o'clock and none other than Maria herself (as always) was running a bit late to the plans made for the current time. It was habitual for her by now, so she wasn't even worried much over her punctuality, even though maybe she should be. One way or another, only a few minutes past five the female had arrived at the door of our Alfred Jones here. Placing a ring on the doorbell, the fact that his house was nice was something she looked at as she waited each time she got the chance to stand on his porch.

"I love this city!" Was the first thing Maria said once the door swung open. By this point it was no surprise that 'hello' was no longer a regular greeting. Bet again- waltzing right in with a simple two-step, the ravenette tugged Alfred in a greeting hug despite the height difference, and that she hadn't exactly given him a chance to bend over for her yet (# short girl problems). "Rented a million movies for really cheap at some-- how would you call it? Sketchy? At some sketchy movie rental." Lifting the plastic bag that she was holding, the poor thing stuffed completely and filled with junk that made it look like it might rip soon enough.

"Alright, Alfred!" Setting the said plastic bag down by her foot, Maria stood a bit taller with the help of her tippy-toes and took the blonde's face into her hands. "Your big football game coming up! That's why I'm here. We're going to watch all these superhero movies that you will have to explain a bit more to me and play Cards Against Humanity, and then you're going to go train with a relaxed head and you're going to play extra great. That's my plan and I think it's great." Smiling easily, she then placed her hands on her hips and finally relaxed from her continuous speaking. "Where do we start?"
