I am a huge CS Lewis fan. If the book you are thinking is The Last Battle - that's what I took it from - LHU was my college I graduated from.

C.S. Lewis is the best! He and I would have been best friends if he'd been born in this day in age. The Last Battle is an amazing book!

One of my favorites! Though I love the book Till We Have Faces. It's the story of Psyche and Cupid retold. Truly a great story. Though, I kind of wish they made a movie of it. Some things are better left to imagination though I think....
