I don't think you frequent this site much any longer, but I wanted to thank you for the many comments you left on my photos years ago. The feedback was much appreciated and helped me quite a bit. I'm getting back into photography after a long hiatus and realized I never thanked you.
So, thanks very much!

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?
What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.
You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I offer only the truth, nothing more.
Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill
spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.

"... the whole point of pics like that..."
Ahh, but see, I don't want my photos to be "like that." I was going for something a little less detailed, a little more abstract. But thanks again!

I wanna thank you for your nice comments and for the addition to your fav.
As I'm not a photographer, the shooting of these pictures where taken in my kitchen with a lamp I was holding all the time to look for the desired shadows and lines it would give me.
The kitchen was small so the lamp was near the face, that's why I had this contrast.
The kind of comments you made gave me another view of my work. Like if I saw them somebody others eyes.
Thanks a lot.

Your May 18th submissions are so well captured, the textures and little details, such as lightposts, windows, etc., are all well blended into wonderful works of art.

thanks. I agree that the pic was a poor one, wich sucks, because it's the only thing I can take credit for. The carving isn't mine. I took all my photos there because it was the only part of the room with natural light at the time. I didn't want to use the flash, because with the varnish on the wood, all that would have come out was a big light. thanks for the input tho.

ahh thanks for the explanation, i see where you're coming from now. well maybe some of the pink is that i was pulling down on th elower lid of the eye, youre seeing all the fluids and stuff. also, a contributing factor coulda been the way i had the camera set up, its a digital cam, and i had it set for indoor pictures, and it was all natural light, but coming through a window, it gave it a sorta blueish hue,. i dunno, that coulda been part of it.
anyways, much appreciation for the constructive comments, those are my favorite kind!!

Pretty happy with where you are in life? Do the contents of your wallet define you? Are you as cool as all those dancers on television because you wear the same khakis? If so, keep it up; it seems everything isworking out great for you.
