I'm taking a photography class, but I'm basically self taught.
And shooting freelance for some spare money. But nothing really special.

Winter months are always slow...but in the summer I do a lot of weddings, senior portraits, engagement photos, and model portfolios.
It helps me pay for photo equipment, but that's about it. I shoot mostly for fun, and take the occasional paying job to pay for new equipment.

chin up! we all feel shit about life sometimes, but the great thing about life's rollercoaster is that after a crashing low we normally get a rushing high!
Never.... NEVER stop doing what you love, if you love doing photography then do it. Whoever told you to stop has no realisation of what life is about... life is there to be grabbed with both hands and pulled close to you.
i know i dont know you.. but it doesnt matter, you shouldn't ever feel repressed!
take it easy and keep shooting i'll be watching for when those shots keep coming
