I went out and bought new sculpey at Michael's, and the entire box was dried out and unuseable. I started crying out of frustration at the sight. :<

Of course it didn't help that I had pulled an all-nighter the night before and was running on my 40th hour awake.

I'm sorry you've gotten so frustrated. You can mix the dried out clay with a bit of vegetable oil to soften it up. But a little goes a long way.

Or bring it to the store and demand a refund. Michael's should give you a new box or a refund.

Everything worked out perfectly, by the way! <3 the new sculpey, but I don't like how the original sculpey is a little off-white.

I'll be figuring this out in the next few hours, so wish me luck! It's good to know that you can salvage unbaked -but dried out clay.
