Your drawings are wicked dude.Very Detailed, I've been striving to do that sort of stuff, wondering if I don't spend enough time on em. I only use one pencil, a technical one haha. Got some other ones from architecture. And some charcoal.. Graphite stick is cool but sorta not helpful unless getting textures.

Anyways, I was hoping a bit that i would get to talk to you, because i looked at your gallery a bit, actually, and i was kinda interested. Using only a technical pencil isn't bad, i do that mainly myself xD Though i would advise getting yourself a pack of 2B graphites for it, 'cause then your pictures would get contrasts they badly need.
I noticed your older drawings are a lot better in terms of clearness and contrasts too, try coming back to that, maybe?

No problem, you are just modest about your art, like most artists.
Technical pencils are good for detail and fine lines. I believe I do have some more pencils around from when I was doing architecture. I am gonna assume that you looked at my Corllion pictures, those i used about 3 different pencils.. No technical. The paper was tracing I believe, easier to smudge with and get finer details, easier on the pencil I've found.
I've actually got some 200gram water colouring paper that I've been working with, it's what my last two submissions were on. I actually have a heap of drawings but my scanner has a crack in it haha, have to use clone tool on photoshop to try get rid of it, but you can see where it is if you look close enough.
But I know what you mean by using contrast, getting depth into the picture yes?
But I don't mind if you blabber on, all goods, I like reading peoples thoughts. xD

Arch Students are some of the most arrogant people I have come across.

Yea I am. I feel like a second year though, as I did a design diploma at a polytech down in Nelson before I moved up. Vic's teaching methods are alright. I find some of the briefs rather vague sometimes though.

A vague brief is an advantage I found. Gives you more variety on what to do. It does really piss me off when they keep adding requirements onto them though. That reallllly pissed me off ><
