# About me

I guess you could call me a "western artist", my main muse would obviously be horses as is evident. Most of the horses you'll notice are packing a bit or hackamore - these go along with the buckaroo traditions of making a nice ranch horse. Buckaroos, after vaqueros (Spanish cowboys) are the originals, they came before the cowboy. Good, gentle, low stress horsemanship and stockmanship are the foundations to the buckaroo ways - it is all about creating a skillful, willing, and happy partner. I like to represent the beautiful craftsmanship, style, and class of this tradition in my "art" work.
