Thanks for the watch <3! I was actually worried that the response to that particular crossover was going to make people have their panties in a bunch but surprisingly people seemed to like it XD. I didn't sell all but one copy but I am happy that people found amusement in the idea haha. I was wondering how you became so well versed with markers? You seem to blend so well, lol when I try with markers it just looks like a children's colouring book at dennys XD. Also are we still on for taking dolly pictures next year? I'll be hard at work designing and building my little girl a costume to be presentable XD.

Yeah same here, it's really enjoyable when even though it doesn't sell, people can see your vision.
And as far as the COPICs is concerned, it been a technique that has gone through a lot of trial and error honestly.
It's sort of hard to explain, only because I suck at explanations. If I use like one color and like several shades, like a skin tone, I'll keep using those markers back and forth until the color is blended in. I'll add in a blending marker if the color is light enough. But obviously you start with the light colors and go darker, since they're not paint. That's my basic technique and then its a matter of planning what light colors go where and what dark colors go where and which colors look good together.
Also yes I'm definitely up for bjd pics next year! I also hope to have more outfits for the girls to wear by then~!

Ohh thanks for sharing your insight on the copics. It's quite uplifting to hear your story on it so to say. I'm partially colour blind so I have silly errors here and there XD.

That's fine~! Despite that obstacle, your stuff still looks really good! And it never hurts to get a second opinion / critique with others, especially when dealing with colors. I still ask whenever I think a color mix is weird and it helps a lot.

oh yeah definitely, I have my partner on a skype tab always for second opinions on poses, colours,etc. My partner(s) are the reason I even started going to artist alleys to begin with. So I dunno how far I would've even made it without them XD. Since I've started attending I'm hoping to grow with each aa I attend. So I'm constantly looking for new techniques and what not to expand my own skill set.
Are you attending any other artist alley's this year? Ax Maybe? I would love to have the change top browse your offerings at a con.

this maybe strange, but when i was a little girl, i came across one of your drawing. mmm this one:

and printed it out, it was my most treasured possession for years and kept be going throw ALOT of hard times, it gave me a kind of hope. it may be just a shipping drawing to you, but it meant alot more to me. that drawing was all i had....ah anyways, i just wanted to say, Thank you. For drawing, For not being afraid to share your art, and for that fact that you haven't given up on drawing even after all these years. because hell if you never posted that drawing and i would have never found it, i would have never started drawing myself, i dont think i would have lived as long as i have to be honest.

Even more so that a fanart from one of my favorite crack ships really envoked so much feelings and encouragement for you.

And I'm glad it sparked such a passion for you and gave you purpose, because really that's one of the best feelings in the world. I hope that you also continue to keep drawing and strive to learn new things so your art continues to grow.
