Oh i can also understand most of slavic languages as written. I guess that's the magic of similarity of slavic languages :'D
I can almost fluently speak polish, english and german and i'm learning french, russian, finnish and pomeranian. 
do you speak finnish fluently? I personally love the language from the first sight and i would really like to learn it in a language school one day . rn i'm learning all alone with the Internet, mobile applications and a 'one month course' (though it's very weak with grammar :I )
And nope, I think it's easier than polish, since the grammar is waaaay more logical. The only thing is vocabulary which is significantly different. But I have kinda a talent for that, because once i hear a word I never forget it.

Well, I can speak it almost fluently ..but I still need to think a lot before creating a gramatically correct sentence. I only learned it at the university, but besides that didn't have any occasion to practise the language... Btw I have a Finnish language book written in Czech in PDF if you want. ...or I also have one written in English.
Yeah, but the words sometimes are tricky... you mix up one letter and get a completely different meaning to your sentence.

haha yeah i'm pretty sure that works really! 
aah not so many languages, i think i could learn more and i would really like to. I'm 14 years old so still kinda young, but it's never too late to learn a new language!
i'm so jealous, i wish i could also speak finnish fluently, since i find it one of the most beautiful languages in the world, along russian and english
oh the finnish grammar is quite difficult, especially the colocations, because you never know which noun case should you use xD
i mean like it's strange to say "minä rakastan sinua", but "minä pidän sinusta" because in polish and as i believe many other languages its the same case (f. e. "kocham cię" and also "lubię cię"), if you understand what i mean..
and what do you mean by a language book? just a dictionary with words divided to some themes like greetings, food, work etc., or maybe some exercises in it? could you send me it anyway?
oh yes, this mistake of mixing up one letter works also in other languages but in finnish it's ultra-tricky because of vowel harmony :I

You are right, the Finnish grammar is difficult, but only because we do not use it daily. Once you have learned the grammar you should practice it as much as you can. Well, at least that is my theory, but I also cannot do it, so I a guess I am slooowlyy forgetting it.
Yes, I understand your examples and problem.. but I guess I am in an easier position, because my mother language is Hungarian. And even though Hungarian and Finnish have different words, but the grammar is really similar... but as we, they also have the noun cases which just have to be learned, have to be learned when to use which case and then practise a loot.
I mean a language book, where you have the grammar explained, you have exercises, you have vocabulary at the end of each lesson/lecture and you can learn it also on your own, just as if you were studying it in school. I can send you, if you give me an e-mail address. But rather send it in a note here on deviantart, because writing your e-mail address anywhere (like in this comment) is not that safe.
Haha, another advantage I have, in Hungarian there is also vowel harmony, so I had no problem with it, I just feel when to use what, -ssa or -ssä. But my Czech and Slovak friends had difficulties with it.

yes, agree, there's not enough time for languages..
i'm trying to learn the grammar but i don't know anyone who also speaks finnish
oh so you had already spoken hungarian? woah hungarian is a real language monster XD how many cases are there? 28?
actually those numerous cases in finnish and hungarian are more logical than in slavic languages to be honest.

Hmm, maybe you should try to get in contact with native Finnish speakers on websites like interpals.net, where you can find native speakers of almost any language. 
Well, Hungarian is my mother language, so I spoke it first ...but I also would say that Hungarian is more difficult than Finnish. The thing about Finnougric languages is, that when we study a finnougric language as mother language, we do not study it by cases, we study it some other way and then say which suffix or prefix is a formative element, a suffix and so on. It is said that Finnish has 14 cases and Hungarian 18-20, but if you would ask a native Finnish or Hungarian about how many cases are in their language, I am sure that 98 % of them would not understand what do you want or they would simply not be able to tell it... that is because what I have already said, "we do not study our language by cases". As it happens when a native German, Slovak, Czech or Polish studies their mother language at school. We do not count the cases, we pay attention to the suffixes, prefixes and verbs... which would be probably the most confusing thing for a person, who is studying our language, but when you have been living in that language your whole life, you look at that language from a different side than a foreigner. I hope I did not confuse you too much and you understood what I meant.
Well, I have just realised, that I do not have any Finnish grammar book in English, only in Czech, Hungarian or Finnish, but I sent you something in the mail.
