Nick was married to a woman named Sarah, and together they had a child. One night, a criminal crept into their house and murdered Sarah and the baby in their beds. After the home invasion, Nick still resides in the house, and has kept some objects that were connected to Sarah and the baby. Nick starts hallucinating Sarah and his baby, and their blood. Lucifer appears as his wife Sarah and tells him that he is a Vessel, and that Lucifer wants his consent to possess him. Lucifer says he is misunderstood, that he was punished for "loving God too much". He says that he will help Nick get justice for his family. Nick assents to possession.

" Alright. " He nodded and held her hand tightly as he followed her over to where the guns were kept.

She opened the dors, turning the light on just to give
him the posibility to choose something. Β The view was impressive.Β
She looked at him, a naughty spark in her eyes. "Go on and choose.Β
Ill take some more munition." and after a little pause. "Im one of theΒ
guns too. So you can choose me too." but it was more of a whisper.Β

" Are you flirting with me? " Nick asked, mildly amused. " You know, my wife died... I'm still finding it hard to move on. "

"I was joking Nick. Noone can take me as an object. " she said,
not even looking at him but filling quit a big gun with munition. Β She eyed
one of the targets she had pinned on the wall, half a meter away from Nick.

" I wish I could move on. I just feel guilty about everything. " He looked at her sadly then at the target she had pinned. " I want to love again, but I don't know how. "

The bar was actually a pretty nice one, good for travellers
and hunters. As soon as they entered, she was Β encountered by
smiles and whistles. People knew her in that area.
"Go on babe. Β First three are from me." the brunette said as they sat
at the bar.Β

Nick looked around the bar as people called out to her. He just carried on deeper inside and sat on one of the bar chairs. " Really? Thanks, You're quite generous... " He chuckled quietly.

Bottles of beer ran on the counter. Β And as time passed, more and more
came. Β She was quit tipsy, drinking probably her 12th beer.
"I cant believe how of an asshole that demon can be.." she mumbled

" All demons are... " Nick agreed, though his words were slurred because he had drunk a little too much himself. " I hate them. " He placed his bottle of beer back on the table.
