I am not so vague as my teachers though not so direct as my children. I am nothing but light in eyes. I am little more than the song of leaves, the heart of color and the laughter of life.I walk across the dreaming sands under the pale moon: trough the dreams of countries and cities, past dreams of places long gone and times beyond.

I was actually looking at those, pretty cool. It would be cool to see what you'd do with a 3d modeling program!

Well, the program I use is Bryce 5.5 (there is also a version 6 out). A simple program, but easy to use and understand. More complex programs such as maya, lightwave and 3ds max can create much more impressive objects but are more difficult to learn. Similar to 3ds max is blender, which you is available free for download. These more complex programs are also a lot more expensive.

I've never used it, but I've seen stuff from it. Looks like a pretty useful and neat program, but I couldn't say just how much you could do with it.
Another modeling program that I forgot to mention is DOGA. I've no experience with it, but I've seen a lot of stuff created in it. I could be wrong, but I think the jist of its creation method is the use of various precreated shapes... kinda like legos, but more advanced. If it's not free, it's probably pretty inexpensive.
