Hi! I'm a professional freelance photographer in LA. I shoot mostly commercial stuff to pay the bills, but my true love is shooting beautiful women. much thanks for that. but i'm betting you're a lot younger than me (i'm a pretty old bastard). There's also probably a pretty good chance that you're more advanced than I was at your age. And to tell you the truth, I didn't work nearly as hard on my art as I should have over the years. If you keep doing what you love (and why would you stop?) there really is no limit to how good you can get.
For example, what you said about me, i would say about quite a few other artists here. So we all have practicing and improving to do, mate.

Heh. Painter's awesome for blending, but I never got around to using it.

i cut my teeth on the old corel photopaint 8 program. worked with that old clunker for the better part of ten years. I'm glad for the experience I gained on the old software, though.
photoshop is exceptional for certain key things that i like to do. But then, corel is superior in other areas. But yeah, best to have both running.
