With regards to the one made on Cynic in Love, I find that disillusionment is only a temporary thing - I suppose I'm still waiting for that magical thunderbolt to just come down out of the sky and deliver love...just a bit naive I suppose

And your comment on A W A K E was also very astute. Normally, I would find the sleeping state the more fascinating, but I just woke up the other day and realised that the act of waking was also somehow special. The poem just sprang out of that.

You should definately check out ~ moonlight-sonata 's poem, Sleep, which is a reflection on A W A K E [link]
