I have a 1972 Chevrolet Longhorn C/30 truck myself, there are a couple of shats of it in my gallery!

Is the on in your avatar your own truck? (looks like an 85 or 86)

I'd love one of the full convertable Blazers or Jimmys from 67-72 or 73, 74, that would be fun, but I would love it as a lowered cruiser rather then a 4x4 like everyone else, just to be unique!

Right now my dad and I are building a 1936 GMC Rat Rod Tow Truck, i can't wait to get that one "finished"

I use a Canon 400D(xti) and shoot mostly with a ultra wide angle lens - Canon UW 10-22mm and a Telephoto Canon L 70-200m

I love canon equipment..its rugged (as i have dropped it several times ) the images are always sharp and colorful and the cameras are loaded with features. This is my second canon and i'll probably keep this one another year or so and then upgrade to a nicer one. Another great thing is that the lenses for almost all canon's are compatible so you can use them on almost every camera

I've never tried a canon, I use a Nikon D40 even though it's already obsolete. The pictures turn out pretty good though, so that's nice

Thanks, my Partner and I do lots of custom 4x4 work in our shop. In 2006 rigs built by us won three of the top four categories at the Alaska State 4x4 meet-n-greet. We skipped the 2007 competition but we're gonna try to make the 2008 one (we live on an island and it's very expensive to get cars and trucks over to the mainland).

That's so cool! We don't really have stuff like that here, just classic car shows. We do have off-road parks though I hope you guys win more award shows this year. I bet Alaska is a really awesome place to live! I've always wanted to go there, but it's too expensive.

You think it's expensive to visit, you ought to try living here! On the plus side we have lots of magnificent wilderness, tons of wildlife, low crime rates and for those of us who appreciate isolation- peace and quiet.

Unfortunately, we're going to skip the 4x4 meet this year and drive to the Arctic Circle instead!
