# About me

Since studying art at school, my passion for art has always been with me, and I have experimented with many techniques. I gained a lot of experience when working as a freelance illustrator. Unfortunately my health has meant that I was no longer able o deal with deadlines, stress and the long and erratic hours of an illustrator/freelance creative.
I am currently attempting to study for a Degree in Design & Innovation with the Open University. It's hard going, but I'm giving it my best shot. *The OU have amazing disabled student support :-)
I have an interest in mythology, the darker side of fantasy and all things vampire related. Those elements inspire much of my personal art. Professionally I have been commissioned to draw things as diverse as carburettors, to PVC clad nurses!
