# About me

I'm living on the West Coast, South Island working with my dad in our photography business. Gained my professional qualifications for portrait and wedding with NZIPP at the end of 2008 at the age of 20 - making me the youngest in NZ to get this. I have recently won the Ronald D Woolf Youth Award for photography with PSNZ 2009.
I like challenges and pushing myself to go further. I don't believe in failing, I just see it as an opportunity to learn more and do better next time round.
Can't wait to go travelling overseas - when I get my A into G & do it!

The one in chch is gonna be at a graffiti ruins kinda place, i've got 3models & just tryin to decide whether i want them all dressed to a theme or each with a different look with something that links them - a colour, shape or object...hmmmm.....
& the ones these w.es' well hopeing to try some more selfies haha & then with a friend of mine more makeup/face/fashiony orientated :) (Smile)

Thats sounds wikid! Aww Aww Aww Aww Aww I loove graffiti/street type areas for shoots, the whole look is really good. Wanganui dosen't have enough cool places :( (Sad)

Yea thanks! :D (Big Grin) umm hard to explain haha, kind of a bit of both but atm i'm just doing a few bits and pieces with him informally, just learning diff softwares so I can start editing his photos for his to take some of the work load off etc. It will build up as we go and then merge into next year so when i've finished school we are going to have a kind of partnership business thing maybie. We'll see how it goes ha.

Yea same haha neither does here, we have one which is really kewl but once yav used it a few times it gets hard coming up with new ideas to work with it.
Chch has amazing ones!

Ya i'm so hooked that I get grumpy if I miss a day of checking in :P (Lick)
It's just a kind of practise shoot with my main model renee, we are going to try a really soft pastel kind of coloured style, maybie indoor with really nice soft light and pale colours. She said she wanted to do something really elegant and pretty :) (Smile)

For outsiders wanganui would seem to be filled with heaps of places but it's so dull for me!! haha, there aren't any really cool modern or industrial streets etc that I love, or that stylish urban kind of 'big city' look. But i'll find somewhere new no doubt anyway :D (Big Grin)

Yea me too! i've got a school photography project that I need to do before the holidays end. I'm doing a kind of texture and movement based narrative style focusing on beauty and fabric/hair movement. I might go down to the beach or somewhere really windy with my gorgeous friend sarah and do some cool hair and dress blowing shots. She's the dancer who got into the Sydney school so I might do a sequence of dancing photos too :) (Smile)
