Madeline represents the second largest country, also known as Canada, she is a rather shy person, but once you get along with her, she will warm up to you and open up a bit more.
She hasn't talked with or seen her sister, Amelia back in their childhood, making them a pair of distant sisters even though their countries are close. though apparently, at times, they are acting as if they knew each other through their whole lives.
Just like her counterpart, aka Matthew Williams, she has a little polar bear, except for the fact that this one, is a female.
She gets easily flustered at things, from small compliments to flirting. She likes people who notice her, and hope she doesn't do anything wrong so they could stay with her.

Madeline looked at the Spaniard in front of her, "S-sir, are you alright?" She asked worriedly, "U-uhm, so eh.." She nervously coughed, " so, U-uhm, It's pretty nice in Spain huh?" She gently.

The man breathed deep heavy breaths as he was bent over, his hands on his knees to support him to bend over like this and to help him steady his breaths. He was wearing a clear white prison uniform, one of heavily secured prisons. He had smudges of mud almost every where on his uniform and hair. He also had smudges of mud on his face and his feet was completely covered in mud from him running, falling, and rolling almost all over the place from this escape in this heavy rain. He was free! Finally free! Now all he has to do is find Lovino, whom escaped a few weeks ago and everything would be fine. Lovino could live a normal life again and he could take care of him.
When she asked a question he laughed, a laugh so full of light and pure joy, most would deem him insane if they did not know the context of why he was laughing. He looked at her and grabbed her by the shoulders, having happiness beam off of his face. "I've never felt so great in my life! I'm free I'm finally free!" He cheered letting go of her, grinning like an idiot as he ran around in wide circles as if he had not done something like that before in his life. "Yes, Wait- Spain?!" He asked, widening his eyes at the notion, out of all that running he did he hasn't made it out of Spain yet? The poor man doesn't know how big Spain is, all of its cities and multiple different countries. He was taken when he was like seven he didn't get to learn about a lot of things.

She asks, offering to him so he could start a new life in Canada, "I-I can help search for your friends, if you want.." She states, sadly looking up to the Spanish man. "D-do you know what your friends look like?" She asks again, so she could be a help to the man, and so they can search easily.

The Spanish man blinked at her offer. "Canada?" That's so far away, a perfect place to start a new. And a good place to start an actual normal life. He placed both of his hands on her shoulders, smiling bright like the sun. "Gracias! You are an angel." He spoke before smooching her cheek and letting go of her. "Well, I need to find Lovino first. He has short brunette hair, he has a strange curl that pokes out on the left side of his head. He's always frowning and is usually rude, he doesn't mean it. Anyway I'm sure he won't be mean to such a belezza such as yourself." He wants to find Lovino before anyone else.

She bit the bottom of her lip, "A-and the vendor seemed to be selling vegetables like Tomatoes.. " Madeline sweat-dropped a bit, "I-I think that's him?"
