my dear dear madfox43... firstly, my username is a joke, as the amish possess no modern technology. my original idea was to draw something that looked like half American Gothic, half Pinnochio from hell. sstill working on that. secondly a friend of mine let me play WoW one time, and i got swarmed by a group of like, twenty-some gnomes!! those vertically challenged bastards kicked my ass, as i am a noob at WoW. Starcraft is more my venue.

Things are going all right, actually. Taking it easy this summer, just trying to work and relax (two rather opposite endeavors, I know... but it works) and so far no troubles there. I just got over a rather uncomfortable bout of sore throatiness/voice loss/mucus build up in the nasal passages, throat, and lungs... yuck. Glad to have that behind me.
Looking forward to playing cqb airsoft tomorrow (played earlier today too) at a local field in the next city over.

Haha, sounds like a pretty good summer so far though! I have been focusing on the relax part of this, the job market here is absolutely crap at the moment and I am having a hard time finding anything. Sigh, oh well - I guess I'll find something eventually. At least this gives me the time to be creative!
CQB airsoft? That's a new one on me, what does it involve?
There's the Edinburgh Festival coming up, which is going to be really awesome - loads of my Uni friends are coming to visit as well, so I'll get the time to see them and have a bit of a laugh.

Airsoft is similar to paintball, only we use realistic model weapons operated by spring, electric, and gas power with plastic bb projectiles. The cqb arena I've been playing at is 15,000 sq ft of rooms and corridors.

Ohh that's cool, I didn't really get the CQB bit. I've done Airsoft in an outside arena before, though - probably not as exciting as what you have been doing, I don't own any of my own weapons. That's really cool.

Fighting indoors is a lot more comfortable than outside combat. Once I have good enough guns for it though, I will definitely get myself into it.
