school been going well, a bit concerned that I'm already in my 3rd year and still haven't even had my second review or my first. Well actually the stupid school screwed me over with my first review by changing when it was given to a class I already had two quarter ago so yeah I missed it some how 
But what about you how is it going over there at your school.

We haven't had any portfolio reviews either. hell most of us really don't have have a portfolio. [Bad I know. I started one but I haven't kept up with it. since most of my work is digital. I should really print somethings out. lol]
Other than that, its going pretty good. I'm going back up to taking 4 classes per quarter rather than three. Mainly due to the fact that I'm still jobless and have plenty of time to work on things. [plus I finally got my new laptop. God that took forever and a day.]
I'm basically taking all 3D classes as of right now. [with the exception of intro to 2D] We just finally got a second professor to teach animation... and there's a huge generation gap. Like, he doesn't know most modern animation. He -may- know Disney movies up until the mid 90s... but any animated movies since then he's clueless. and he doesn't know the cartoons on tv. [He didn't know what Avatar was.]
But he's trying to teach us Audio... and that generation gap is really playing into this big time. He doesn't know how to use Soundbooth from the looks of it. And I've basically had to learn how to use Garage Band in order to mix things and stuff. Its a bit frustrating.

The age gap plays a huge thing into our classes. =/ He'd be fine for traditional animation classes... Well I know the basics of how to use premier so. xD Which is good.
And I'm liking the 3D classes. Maya is difficult to learn but I'm getting the hang of it. how about you?
