# About me

Hi, I'm Matt.

Photography and digital art have been a huge interest of mine since I was a young teen.
I finally bought my first SLR camera at the age of 17 and started experimenting with all sorts of photos.
Still to this day I am experimenting. My head is always full of ideas for photos, mostly portraiture, and I absolutely love giving my camera a good workout.

I don't know where this is taking me, I'm just going with the flow and loving every minute of it.

I'm lazy and I have no confidence haha. But this month has been pretty busy for me. Also, I suck at using my new camera. I still have SO much more to learn about photography :( (Sad)

Oh don't have no confidence! Just don't have any expectations :) (Smile) The best way to learn is by experimenting.. thats my favourite way to learn! haha. And there's still things everyone can learn.. but I do know how you feel there's so so much I need to learn too.

I just need a huge kick in the bum I think! It's hard to get motivated when I don't feel good enough or talented enough to do what I want to do. But like you said, the best way is to keep experimenting..

Mm I do know that feeling! But seriously; the best way to get motivated is by pushing yourself to get started..
For example, with uni.. in the past I usually would end up slacking off, and using photos for projects that weren't actually taken for that project, or were even taken before I started the project! This year I told myself I would stick to my plans, and do 12 shoots specifically for my project based around the zodiac signs. I've done 6 so far and have my 7th tomorrow... and I haven't thought once about using old photos and just photoshopping them in a way to suit! And even though I was dreading getting started, I'm flying through them, and really enjoying it and I personally think I've already improved a lot with them.. so yesss you just need to get in to it.. maybe set yourself a project of sorts...?

Which brings me to my next point....
I would LOVE to model for you :) (Smile) Just say when! I have many outfits to play with and am keen on anything really! :D (Big Grin)
