Hi. Im a sai noob. Do u recommend me getting used to the linework layer or a normal layer when making line art?

hello! Haha, i struggle when choosing these things myself, but here is my opinion.
I think the answer will depend much on what kind of style you're trying to achieve. Drawing with the line art tool will give you very consistent, clean lines but may seem more rigid. They're great for when you use cell shading or want something sharp or look like a screenshot from an animation. Drawing on a normal layer will give you more expressive lines, but it can seem more more messy/sloppy if not cleaned up. However, they much more natural/softer lines once you get better and gives more painting effect.

Nope! And don't get frustrated if it doesn't look right the first time. There's lots of tutorials to help you with libeart and coloring as well. If u don't know where to start, I've favorited some that I've used in a tutorials folder.
Hmm in deciding which brush to use, I personally use the 'brush' tool for lines.
