You're welcome. I have been trying to get used to digital art myself. I use Corel Painter 12. I mainly use it for photo-manipulation, but I am working on drawing illustrations for my friends book. I'm happy he wants me to draw for it. However my Traditional Style drawing is much better. I am having a hard time drawing my style using the Intuos4 Tablet.Β I should practice more than I am now, but it's stressful, you know...lol
By the Way...I really love your work!

You're very welcome. They are amazing! Do you have any tips on how to draw buildings?

Well, I find it a little hard to give some clear, direct tips on drawing buildings... The most important in drawing buildings is a deep understanding of perspective rules, so it's agood idea to begin with drawing cubes and other geometrical solids. I began to draw buildings after several months of such training

Okay, thank you. Perspective wise I'm pretty good at. It's more so I need advice with the details and fine details. I zoomed in on your drawing, "Scandinavian Architecture," and noticed the shingles were little lines finely put and with different shades of a color, but for some reason I am making it seem more complicated than it is. Or maybe it is as complicated as I think?
Your style is amazing I really like the details you add to your buildings.

You should use reference photos (hundreds of thousands preferably) to analyze geometry, proportions, material structure, shading. It's best to begin training with drawing only a part of aΒ building (a column, a portal, stairs, a detailed window etc). Such training should take several months I suppose. Buildings are complex objects
Maybe details in "Scandinavian Architecture" weren't complicated to draw, but they were definitely more time-consuming than I initially expected.

Alrighty. I'll start with small portions of detailed structures and get used to / skilled withΒ drawing all the fine details.
The several months part doesn't sound very fun =/ but I'm sure it'll be worth it!
Thank you for the advice. I'll be saving your comment to go back to. I hope I can come back to you for more advice in the future! =]
Thank you for your time. Your words are helpful!!

Your work is amazing!
Your work reminds me of the 50's art style, sort of retro look.
Showing the light, and the detail; just seems to have a "1950's home-like" look to them.
