Favorite bands / musical artists: Hear ALL the bands! Unless, of course, the lyrics have no meaning. Songs about less than intelligent women of questionable morals (heavy paraphrase alert) come to mind.
Favorite books: ... Read ALL the books? (It's a tie between Lord of the Rings, the Inheritance Cycle, and the Redwall series. I also absolutely loved a book called "Unwind." I'm pretty partial to the Bible as well. Don't judge me.)
Favorite writers: If I have to pick one, Tolkien. It's generic but it's true.
Favorite games: Guild Wars, Team Fortress 2 and Go Fish
Favorite gaming platform: This thing I'm typing on (It's a Mac. Leave me alone, it works for the games I actually play.)
Tools of the Trade: My colored pencils, whatever paper I could afford that week, and my brain. Those, and lots of eraser. I make many, many mistakes.
Other Interests: Potatoes, cake, two-sided sticky tabs and archery. Usually not at the same time.

Hello there, internet? Me here. Who's me? Me, that's who.

Alright, enough of me goofing off (lies). Salutations, and welcome to my page! Nothing fancy, I know, but I personally like it. You can call me Meak. Here's most everything you will ever need to know about me.

~Writing is my first love. Well, that's not entirely accurate, when I was four I wanted to be a fire-fighting astronaut. But since then it's been writing. I probably won't post much of my writing here, though. This account is most likely to be centered around visual art, which is what I do when I can't write.

~Currently, I'm a teenager at the tail end of my teen years. I'm relatively new to drawing, but I'd say I've been an artist most of my life. Come on, it takes talent to put a mural on the inside of your closet wall in crayon (And yes, my parents loved it, thank you).

~My art style is mostly my own creation. Much of it was inspired by manga and graphic novel art, but by looking at it, you can pick out plenty of differences. I don't aim for realistically shaped features, which is something that takes after manga, but I don't really fall into the "manga category." Make sense? No?

~If I favorite something of yours, then I assure you I actually looked at it. I don't enjoy going about and randomly adding things, that takes away all meaning from "favorite." Also, please don't feel obligated to return the gesture. If I commented or favorited something, it means I actually enjoyed your work, and seeing/reading it's thanks enough!

~I'm terribly silly, but I do attempt to be intelligent. On a topic in the same ballpark, I refuse to argue. I'm not really the "screw you if you don't agree with me, haters gonna hate" type. But if you don't agree with me, that's okay. Most likely, we can still be friends.

~I refuse to rank artwork against other artwork. Enough said. In my own opinion, there isn't a way to say what's "good" and "bad" art. I'll critique my own, critique (KINDLY) those close to me, and accept critique from others. But if I have nothing nice to say, I shan't say it.
