great! i volunteered last week(and will be again next week) at the art cultural center, where I help kids in art camp. My cousin is here for about 5 weeks. This week she and I are taking surfing lessons! It's a lot of fun and I can stand on the board!(sometimes) But the beginner boards give u a rash that hurts! I have it on my knees, elbows, hands!, and half my thighs. It hurts, but it's so worth it!
I'm also visiting my grandparents in France for 3 weeks in August.
How is ur summer going? Ur going to college right? Does is feel like u are, or like ur just going to be going to another yr of high school?
also, I'm taking Portfolio 1+2 next yr! :D (Big Grin)

Your going to France? Oh my, that would be so cool. I am starting UNF in the fall, and it definitely doesn't feel like high school. I have orientation today, which includes a tour of the school. . .in the rain. Haha. But I don't really mind. Sounds like your having a really good summer, I wish I could surf. XP I've just been hanging out with my friends and family, so it's been good. Congrats on taking Portfolio next year! You'll love it. ^_^ Be sure to post all of your artwork up so I can see it!

i'll try my best to post! r u excited about UNF? How does the campus look? I'm not actually good at surfing yet, maybe in 2 yrs XD. I've mainly been hanging out with friends and family too. I'm going to get to go see Harry Potter this weekend! Can't wait! Are you going to go see it? I heard it was pretty good.(my neighbors went to go see it at midnight on opening day).

Hi! Sorry it's been so long, I haven't been on deviant in a long time. I went to see it at midnight too! It was pretty awesome, I loved the luck potion scene. As good as it was, it was actually too short for me. There was way too much that they left out. But still, it's Harry Potter, so it can't not be awesome. The UNF campus is pretty nice, also quite large so I get the feeling I'll get lost a few times. Oh well. I'm glad your having a good summer! Do you know what your schedule is for next year at Nease? I plan on coming back to visit art classes. ^_^

I agree, it was too short and they did leave a lot out, but you can only make a movie so long. It was still awesome though :D (Big Grin) .
My mom wants me to go to UNF too, and I gotta start thinking about SATs now. Were those really hard? I don't want to take them!
I have portfolio 1 this semester and Portfolio 2 next semester! The rest of my classes are not important enough to mention(well Span 4 seems interesting, but I'm only taking it half the yr).
What classes do u get in college? Are they similar? Do you get tons more HW that high school? Sorry for the questions, I'm just very curious about what college is like.
