Cars were beeping and the snow was starting to come down hard. Wynn wrapped her scarf up tighter and rushed down the rest of the city block and into the nearest cafe. "Brrr... It's getting cold!" She walked up to the counter and looked at the menu, trying to decide what to order.

The day was pretty cold, and that meant bad news for Bull; a strange young man who covered himself with a black cloak as he wondered the roads of town. Under his cloak was something which he always hid, never daring to take his outfit off unless he was totally sure he was alone.
His lower body, starting at his hips, was covered in smooth dark blue scales like that of some kind of reptile, and behind him he bore a thick, long tail, which was rapped around one of his legs to keep hidden. His legs were beast-like; with back paws as feat, high heals and muscular legs.
The roads of the village were mostly empty, since people were trying to keep warm in their houses. Bull was just trying to look for a place to stay; and the fact he was half cold-blooded didn't help, for sure.

Wynn rushed down the paths of the village. Her long pale blue hair kept getting in her face despite it being in a ponytail. She hurried in her search of a place to stay before it got too cold for her body to handle, seeing as she didn't have many layers to her outfit; the closest thing to a coat was her cape, but that wasn't helping much. I'm so glad I decided to buy those gloves at that other village... My fingers probably would have been frozen solid by this point, she thought to herself.

Suddenly, Bull's eyes glared at the young woman he caught rushing down the village path. Desperate and cold, he ran over to her. "Hey!" he called out, his voice shaky.
"D-do you know where there is a place I c-can stay?" he stuttered.

The girl was caught off-guard at the sudden approach. "O-Oh, I'm sorry," said Wynn. Her teeth started chattering as a cold wind picked up. "I d-don't know. I'm new to th-this village and I'm l-l-looking for a pl-place asw-w-well.

Bull frowned. He wasn't expecting a new-comer to come across here, but he didn't speak of that.
He saw how cold she was, and a sudden feeling struck him and he sighed. She moved next to her and took some of his cloak, wrapping it around her and holding her close to him. He knew that much of his odd-features would be revealed to her, but for now, he didn't care.
"Maybe we should go into that alley nearby...it looks roomy enough," he said comfortably, lashing his tail behind him, and releasing a frosty breathe.

Wynn held in a gasp as she got a quick glance at the bottom half of his figure. He seemed quite strange, not just his body though. His choice of clothes and suggestion to go into the alley made her feel suspicious. Wynn slowly put a hand on the hilt of her sword, hidden from view by her cape. "S-sure," she agreed, making the insecurity and uncertainty in her voice look like it was just because she was cold.

Bull gave her a glance before he took both of them to the alley, and found it one of the only places they could shelter at the moment. He silently took a breathe and looked down at her, feeling that she may be uneasy.
"I know, this isn't the best choice. But at least it's a bit warmer, here," he said to her, pinning back his large ears.

"Yeah, it is," Wynn replied. She stepped out from under his cloak now that she was warmer. "Thank you, but I think I'll be fine now that I'm out of the cold wind." She grinned and then leaned against the side of the alley opposite from Bull.

"Alright, then, Miss," he said with a small smile, sitting down on the ground below.
"So, what's your name?" he asked, curiously.
