well do you start with a ink and scan it in or is it all done on the comp and the shading do you just burn it or what
im still learning photoshop

important: im not very good in english because im a Chilean soul.
first of all, you start with a graphite pencil and your imagination
second: with a knife or sharpener you must drop graphite pencilΒ΄s dust on the sheet and later difuminate it with a paper or the finger. thats my first step on my drawing
third: in this moment you start to draw your picture and applying the shadows, and always difuminate.(for "oldfilm-like or oldphoto-like lines you can use the eraser)
fourth:ready the picture, you scan it to photoshop.
fifth: you can find the option Equalize in phtoshop and apply it to your picture. that option will give a little of colour to your picture, and in this step you can difuminate finally your pictura with the difuminate options of photoshop
thats my way to draw, but remember, friendly soul: the most important things are your imagination and your feelings.

theyre good and amazing, but you must try to put more "nostalgy" or a feeling of loneliness on your monsters or own ghosts, and try to make it less aggressive

that gargoyle have an aggresive and terrorifical appereance
try to put in your monsters more pain and agony, the monsters are fallen souls, they know their final destiny in the flames of hell, so they have painfull hertas and they carries disgrace in their bodies

gargoyles have to be a bit aggressive but i see your point when my hunchback drawing gets loaded look at it maybe he is a bit less aggressive and more lonley
