Really? I forgot a lot of things about the show over the years but the wrist dial and the squirrel bladder air sandals were something that really stuck in my childhood mind for some reason. I'm pretty sure I even drew the sandals lol.

You can tell they were pretty much out of ideas towards the end. lol There are quite a few terrible episodes but most are still enjoyable in some weird way. I know my history and usually don't mind when they mess that up in Hercules as it is a fantasy series but this was a bit stretched too far. Going from before the year zero to 1400 to 1600-ish is.... questionable to say the least.

Hey, I just got a chance to sit down and watch that Telekids thing, it's so funny and bizarre! Can't understand a word of course and no subtitles but I'm slightly drunk right now and am highly amused lololol. The trailer for the Toth movie was soooo good. Ah, 90s over-acting, I miss it so much. I really like Carlo! Thanks for sending it to me. If it makes you feel better they can be a bit hard to follow sometimes even in Dutch. Lol
They used to do some ridiculously funny sketches in it too but I think that was in earlier episodes.

It's actually a bit in English because of the special guest. This was loosely based on a real Dutch soap but Carlo and Irene played all the characters themselves hence the name tags... Most was improvised on the spot.

Many eons ago my cousin gave me a Mr. Chehkov doll from Star Trek (remember him? Well I did, fondly!). Anyway I took him out of the box and was running my hands all up and down his fabulous body (you know, as fifteen year old girls do) and I realised he really did feel kind of strange and lumpy under there. So I managed to work his suit off, which was difficult as it had no Velcro or zips lol, and lo and behold what greeted me was Arnold Shwartzanegger's body with Chehkov's head sticking on top. My cousin looked at it and said, "oh, they must have accidentally put Chekhov's head on Captain Kirk's body!", but as a rabid Shatner fan she is quite delusional lol. At any rate, it was terrifying, and I never played with him again lol.
