ooc. aa i hope this starter is okay ;;
i. noah scrunched his nose at the sudden scent of blood polluting the air. a hand raised to cup his mouth in disgust, gaze scanning the area to locate the origin.
ii. he had seen the other round the corner of one of the buildings and wielding a bloodied bat.
iii. his lips drew into a frown, brow furrowed in concern. for both his safety and whoever's blood that belonged to.
iv. noah subtly slipped his free hand into his pocket to retrieve his phone. his finger hovered above the screen, prepared to dial the police if necessary."ah, is everything alright??"
"should i be concerned about.."v. he motioned a hand to the crimson staining their weapon."that?"

[ nikki had just finished a simple job, being paid in advanced for her ... 'service'. usually she'd object to lingering around, but she was taking valuables off of the corpse. ]
[ someone's presence made her stand straight, eyes narrowed. it's not like he could actually see her face. it was obscured by her usual rabbit mask. ]
[ her gaze fell upon the male, grinning slightly. it wasn't every day that she was caught in the act. a laugh bubbled up from her lips, clenching the bat tightly. ]
[ nikki cocked her head and glanced down at the bat. she quickly shook her head and another laugh came out. ]
" nothing you should be concerned with! "
" it's scum's blood, so it's fine. "
[ she used her free hand to move the mask slightly, so her voice wasn't muffled. her lips curled into slight disgust. ]
" just had the trash taken out. "

i. her laugh left his gut churning with worry. the grip on his phone tightened, his thumb still hovering over the screen.
ii. he let his hand fall that had been cupping his mouth to hide from the scent. his brow furrowed in concern, contemplating his next choice of words carefully.
iii. all the while noah kept his gaze fixated on her- watching her every move. unfortunately her mask stopped him from taking note of her facial features, but he did ensure to pay attention to the details of her attire. it might come in handy when he talked to the police, that is, if he made it out of this situation."...scum's blood?"
"i take it you killed someone? you do realize that's illegal, right?"iv. noah had a surprisingly calm composure. it might be due to his lack of energy and sleep, though internally he was panicking.
v. it wasn't often he encountered a murderer and he felt every word was like walking on egg shells.

[ her eyes fell to the body for a moment before she looked back up at the male. ]
[ she laughed at his choice of words. a short, harsh laugh, but still a laugh. it didn't matter what other people thought of her work, it got her money and she had lines she wouldn't cross. ]
[ nikki licked her lips and glanced back down at the body. her bat traveled to it, poking it roughly. a disgusted sneer making its way onto her face. ]
" illegal or not, i'm doing the world a favor. "
" this man was human trash. he was a woman beater. "

[ she placed her bat down for a moment, clapping her hands and grinning. ]
" he's where he belongs! "
" by the way! you might wanna turn off your phone! "
[ she bent down and grabbed her bat, letting it hang loosely in her hand. ]

"he could've suffered his time in jail. who knows, maybe suffered more so than his death. i hear the people there aren't very nice."ii. at their last comment, he glanced down at the phone in his hand.
iii. he returned his gaze to her, contemplating whether or not he should do what she said. although it seemed they were murdering with some sense of justice, he felt it was safer he had his only way of communication on.
iv. noah gave a small shake of his head. his fingers began to lightly tap away to dial the police."i'm sorry, but i can't do that."
"you murdered someone. i don't think you realize how bad your actions were."

[ her head cocked at his reasoning. she doubt that he'd get any harsh treatment. she's been inside a jail before. not as an inmate, but as a 'journalist'. ]
[ she lifted her bat and pointed it at his phone. ]

[ it was a pretty slow night for the girl, honestly. ]
[ usually she was out wreaking havoc, but not tonight. ]
[ she was told to leave the league of villains hideout for a bit, to blow off some steam because her and another member got in a nasty fight. ]
[ and she was probably just going to find some random civillian to kill. wasn't her fault. ]
[ the blonde swung her bat idly, eyes scanning the mostly empty streets for someone strong-looking. her eyes caught someone taller than her, causing her to grin under the rabbit mask she wore. ]
[ her pace quickened, going towards the person. ]
[ obviously she had a death wish because this dude was a fucking demon. dumbass bitch. have fun in hell, lmao ]
" hey there! "
[ she called out, resting her bat on her shoulder, head cocked. ]

[ asmodeus had been on his way to a gang meeting, making his way swiftly down the street. ]
[ it was probably just another status update on how the gang was doing in a certain location of the city. ]

[ turning to face of the owner of the voice, asmodeus quirked a brow. ]

[ her head tilted, voice muffled from the rabbit mask she wore. ]
[ she was going to play this by ear, but she wanted to get him into a false sense of security. ]
[ her grip on the bat relaxed slightly, resting it on the ground. ]
" i can help ya get there! y'know, protect ya! "

[ raising a brow, he’d stare down at her. curious about her mask but, not curious enough to comment on it. or the bat. ]

[ he’d chuckle quietly, shaking his head. ]
“dear friend, i do greatly appreciate the offer, but... i’ve already got my protection.”
“isn’t that right, boys?”
[ snapping his fingers, 2 more men would step beside asmodeus, wearing matching leather jackets to his. ]
”right boss.”
“right... so, madame, as said before, I appreciate the offer but... i think we’ll be on our way... nikki.”
[ just.. how did he know her name? they’d only just met. anyways. asmodeus began to walk off once more, his two men trailing behind him. ]

[ when he said her name, nikki swore under her breath. the purse that was on her arm might've been filled with gear for bomb making. ]
[ her free hand traveled to her face, pulling off the mask and tucking it away. ]

[ she began following him, boots clicking softly as she walked. her eyes were narrowed, grin quickly replaced with a frown. ]
[ she came out here to have a good time and she was honestly feeling so attacked right now. she was frightening! a powerful villain that nobody messed with! how dare he? ]
" listen, i just came out to blow off some steam. you don't wanna die? that's cool. but can you help me out? "
[ as she kept up with his pace, her bat swung at her side. ]
" i wanna cause mass hysteria, man! bombs! explosions! please help me! you seem like the kind of guy to feed off of fear!"

[ perking a pointed ear, the dark red haired man turned around, a smirk spreading across his face. ]
[ he’d place a hand on his hip while he listened to the woman’s words, scratching his thick red beard. ]
“mmm.... mass hysteria, is that so? .... come with me. you’ll fit right in to where i’m headed.”
[ an ominous chuckle rumbled in his throat, while he turned to continue walking. ]

[ she perked up, blond locks bouncing as she did. her eyes sparkled slightly. ]
[ she looked excited at the idea, the girl nodding quickly. she hasn't blown anything up for a while. she needed this. ]

[ the girl laughed awkwardly at the last part, grinning as she followed him. as they walked, she began messing with her quirk, making her bat's nails thicker and longer for better range. ]

[ the demon would check his sharp claws, as if to make sure they were sharp enough for anything that may happen. he had his own personal weapons too, of course. but she seemed alright. ]
[ hearing her question, he’d laugh a bit and shove his hands in his pockets while he walked. ]

[ she gave him a wink, grinning widely. at the mention of gangs, her head cocked and she raised an eyebrow. ]

[ and the fact that people talked about her made her ego boost even more. her eyes narrowed, but that grin stayed on her face. ]

[ he'd chuckle at the smaller female's reactions, folding his hands while he walked before lifting himself into a hover and continuing down the way. ]
[ listening to her other question, a corner of his lips curled into a little smirk, before he responded. ]
"indeed they do.. and, i suppose they can be good things. i know about your.... little.. job. and i must say, you do it very well~"
[ he chuckled again, looking down at her while his crimson eyes seemed to gleam. ]
"you seem to know all the right things to do in your situations. you're light on your feet, and i believe your favorite weapon is that bat right there. i know quiiite a bit about you~"

[ at the mention of her job, her eyes lit up. her grin was lopsided, sharp teeth showing slightly. ]
[ now this was something she could talk about all day! and to someone who actually understood? a chance to brag. she didn't question when he began hovering, but instead she began walking quicker, so he didn't leave her behind. an amused hum left her lips and she cocked her head. ]
[ the compliment made her cheeks flush up slightly, but she passed it off with a shrug. ]
" i'm glad someone thinks i'm good at my job. my city doesn't really ... appreciate my work! "
" i do it for a living and for fun! i went to the best hero school, but became a villain. ironic, huh? and you'd be correct! this is my baby and if anything happened to her, i'd kill a bitch."
