yeah, i just thought the base was adorable! Jessica get all freaked out when i use bases though, idk why. i guess she thinks im stealing or something but i always ask first and read the rules for base usage. besides, what i made looks tatoally different than what the base owner made and it doesn't hurt to take advantage of all the resources one can in the artist community, right? you should give one a shit too! =3

bases are good practicefor anime detail, for example, if you want extra practice on how to draw hair, bases provide a medium for practice that are time efficient too.

I have never used a base before but the base u used was good. I dnt think ppl should say that its bad, i mean ppl creted bases for a purpose inthe 1st place. Maybe i mite give it a shot. Its okay if ur ranting,.... im a ranter too

Yeah i wish the same thing. I wish i could go back to wen we just got in 8th grade i suppose im happy with my move, cuz ive been more focused on what i want to do, and thts to be a comic book arist and writer

speaking of which, do you have any ideas for characters for your manga ( would it be called a doujinshi? ) because im totally stoked about helping. i drew these pic today for a group im in here on DA and it's for a contest to redesign toy story chars ( up to 3 ) and i drew this pretty demonic version of the slinky dog! it looks great and thanks to the magic that is my copy machine, i have my original pencil version, a copy of that which i inked to turn into line art, and copy of THAT that i colored and am going to enter in the contest. it's giving me some ideas for char design at the moment =3

thanks! i think i have a chance at winning. i used gel pens for certain parts including the metal in the middle and on the tail (the "slinky's ") but i didn't get the exact texture i was looking for. i wanted it to look more like smoot, rounded metal common in children's toys, but because of my multiple stroke drawing stile, it looked more like edgy, flattened metal common in barbed wire and saws. i actually think it's better for the whole "demonic-toy" feel. -w-.

i'd really like you to see it but i need to scan it and i may have to wait to go to jessica's to use her scanner ( she has 11 of my other sketches onher computer waiting to be uploaded as we speak)

i saw avatar the last air binder movie, and it SUCKED !!! the acting was terrible and a waste of time and money and the story was all lopp-sided ... i like the cartoon show way way much better.
