Hi!
Answer to your question - IΒ΄m not much of a photographer but I have some photos taken of Estonian landscape. They arenΒ΄t some pieces of art, taken just like that. I can send them to you by mail if you want to give it to me. I have been in Lithuania once when I was child. I guess thereΒ΄s no very much difference between those two landscapes. In Estonia there are some places that are very flat and some are hilly. For example the place I live in south Estonia has quite many hills. The Balticums highest hill- 318 m - is here.

It sokay, you don't have to go through the trouble of sending pictures. I just thought if you had some on the computer already, its no big deal. Just curious I guess. Anyway, I don't really remember what much of Lithuania looked like, so I probably wouldn't even be able to compare!
Thanks anyway

Are you from Russia? I see you are in Bethesda MD. I was there once back in Feb 86 for a while.

I was actually born in Lithuania, but moved to California when I was 7.
Did you like Maryland at all?

Once I was out of the naval hospital, yes! *chuckles* Loooooooong story. Maryland is beautiful, and I loved the cherry blossoms, historical places, and of course George Town.
So you are now called a "left coaster" in Amerikanese. Welcome!

"left coaster"? haven't heard that one yet. Yeah, the cherry blossoms are beautiful and Maryland is pretty cool, but I am moving back to the West Coast in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait!

Cool. Left coast, East coast, West vs East, more a phrase used by north eastern Americans I think because Californians are "so far out in left field" as to be strange, also used is "Pacific North East" (due to the high amounts of rain and extreme humidty in New England right now)

Makes sense, just never heard it before, but apparently others on the East coast have. I have heard of Pacific North East, and I am glad to say that I will never have to live anywhere near here again!

For me I love it up here. We (*leopardlady ) and I just got back from a renaisance fair with our little ones. I put her up on my gallery, she looks good in leather. Clear, sunny, warm, blue skies, mountains, strange peoples dressed even more strangly, what more can one ask for, no?

I have never been to a renaisance fair, but I have always wanted to go. I visited *leopardlady's site, loved the commie zebra, very cute!

Yep, she's evil, hate MLP's and *leopardlady knows it. She said to say thanks for the compliment btw. It is cute despite being evil.
