hmm.....that stinks. :\.....there are free programs out there, but none are really at all good, if you have an extra $30-40 you can get manga studio 4. or you could get the auto desk sketch book express,

manga studio being cheaper....

That's perfectly fine. Your real art is actually great. I don't see any reason for you to post other stuff. You know when I started, my work was just like your real work, too, right..? Then I got better and better, and now I do this for a living.

You just have to put enough time into it. That's literally all it takes: Time.

Great! Thanks again for understanding(: and as soon as its up ill message you. And i have a feww questions if you dont mind. i wanted to ask, what do you use? I have no idea or expirence in that area i would like to know how to use photoshop and tablets and stuff like that. Right now i have a free program called gimp. Idk if youve heard of it but its kinda like photoshop but free. So is there anything you recommend for starters.? And can you explain to me the selling of prints and things here? Because thats like a foreign langauge to mee. Haha. Do you understand itt?

I started with Photoshop, back in version 6. Looong time ago, haha.

But today I use Paint Tool Sai for lines - and Photoshop for coloring. I recommend learning Photoshop first. It's one of the more complex programs, so once you can use Photoshop, everything else will be easy to use!

My first tablet was a Wacom Intuos 2. My current tablet is a Cintiq 21UX. However, you don't need an Intuos to start with, and you don't need a huge tablet to draw good things. You can get something cheap, like a Wacom Bamboo. As long as it's a Wacom tablet, it will work well and last you a very long time. (Maybe even forever, if you treat it well!)

It is important to keep in mind that a tablet will not magically make your work awesome. Just make sure you spend a few hours drawing every day, and before long, your muscle memory will build up - you'll be able to draw really well. Think of it like a sport: You have to spend a lot of time training to become good.


In order to sell prints, first your work must be popular enough that people want to buy it. This means that you have to create things that people want to see, and they have to be good enough that people will want to hang them on their walls. Even my work isn't popular enough to sell prints yet. I asked someone who sells prints, and they told me "Once an artwork gets about 1000 faves, it's a good indication that it will do well as a print". None of my deviations have reached 1000 yet. My most popular is only a little over 500 faves.

Actually this helps a lot! Thanks! Ive already began thinking of what i can draw. And ill seriously look into getting some of these things but i have no idea where to look. Where did you get yours? I dont reguarly trust websites and stuff id rather get it in person to you know check it out and stuff but can you get them at like a computer store or Best buy or wal mart something like that.?

You should be able to get a cheap Bamboo from Best Buy. However, I bought my Intuos 2 second-hand from eBay around 10 years ago for a mere $40. It eventually paid for itself many times over in commissions.

This is the cheapest Wacom tablet that Best Buy sells. You may be able to get it cheaper from eBay or a similar store.
