Xd what's great? Vash? the trigun eps? donuts? XD I think they're all great either way^^

...but I've yet to draw fanart of trigun,...though I've drawn some for Bleach, Naruto, and Ouran High School Host Club, and I think ONE of Trinity Blood.

....srry if you don't know any of those titles XD

Most of my fanarts are in pencil's and not coloured though...and the one that IS coloured was for an art project in 7th grade that I got an A+ On XD so I felt good about putting it in the fanart portion of m gallery XD ...oh dear, sorry for talking so much T_T

No, it's cool. I'm actually not big into anime. Trigun was my first that I actually liked. I kinda like DeathNote... only a little. I also like Full Metal Alchemist. I've watched all of Full Metal Panic. It was okay. I've watched some of Naruto.

MynameisHitsugaya In reply to mine1987 [2009-03-01 03:26:08 +0000 UTC]

Hehe, I'm a HUGE anime fan^^ XD Trigun was not my first, I can tell you that much^^ I was never partial to DeathNote, in fact, I never finished it. I just decided if I wanted to I would buy the anime all seperate and have a mini marathon with my friends and we'd all watch it(out of everyone im the biggest geek and have over 100 mangas, over 30 SK mags, and more O_o) and lots of anime XD

Ive never watched or read FMP but I ADORE FMA!!! Naruto...I read it when I have time and am caught up with Japan....but I dont watch the english stuff anymore.

I'm so happy at the moment. In history we had to write an essay about the Black Death/Bubonic Plague and its due monday. We had to tell it from first person point of view and I've finished mine. I chose to tell it like a story, a weeklong tale of a girl running...who..in the back of her mind kept the thought of running away from her family. I like it so much, I'm going to post it on Dev. Art believe it or not. It's seriously something I actually liked writing and got a little into it O_o But, I know it isnt my best, My best is a 600 page long book and the sequel I'm working on XD

lol, awesome. I was writing two books before college bogged me down. 600 is a lot. I don't know if I'll let it go that far on either unless inspiration intervenes on a greater scale.
Tolkien wrote the Lord of the Rings.
As for being a geek, I don't see anything wrong with that. Being a nerd on the other hand is based on one's opinion. lol

MynameisHitsugaya In reply to mine1987 [2009-03-01 04:23:34 +0000 UTC]

Hehe, the inspiration, believe it or not, was a dream that kept reoccuring, and as I wrote it all down, it went on from the point of happening again, and, once I continued beyond the point of the dream, it stopped happening, but the idea was stuck in my head, so I just needed to get it going. Book I is being edited by yours truly and BookII is in the making, not yet finished, not even a third done XD I started writing 6 months ago to rid myself of the dream I had for a year! XD Once my friend stole the edited portion(which I have some edited things printed and in a binder) in Study and read it, she wanted more....and now LOTS of people wnat more. So if they like it, I'll keep going with it^^

XD Being a geek, i must agree has no problems....as for nerds...uhm..I think they're different from geeks XD But its still fun to be both

Yeah, different in a way that a tiger is different from a bobcat. In my experience, geeks are not as obsessive and don't follow a particular fashion.
As for the dream, sounds like someones telling you something there. lol Well, at least you have an audience. All I had was a friend on the bus that probably didn't care much.
Anywoo, my first book is essentially a cross-over of about three sci-fi franchises and the two comic universes. I started that one around 15 and it's probably halfway completed once I spend some time to edit out unneeded or out-of-date information. The second is a fantasy epic of the same caliber as Lord of the Rings, but the majority of that book exists in notes and notebooks. Only the first chapter is written. That's about 5-6 years ago when the inspiration came.

MynameisHitsugaya In reply to mine1987 [2009-03-01 05:35:29 +0000 UTC]

Hehe, hmm..well I'm not as obsessive with anime as I used too...but I love to draw it and cosplay XD
I would never have had an audiece unless my friend stole the book right out of my hands, then almost the WHOLE study(like 30 people) got it! I did not want that, I'm rather shy sometimes, especially about my writing, I quite writers workshop because I had to share my stuff with the class XD I know thats part of the whole deal...but...I just couldn't do it. Hey, even one person is better than no audience.
Five-Six years is LONG O_o I try to keep my writing as fresh as possible, but everything is pretty darn raw till it hits the computer. I write everything in notebooks, and somehow, when I'm "editing" that is when I go practically insane, adding in so much more dialect and detail than before. XD My friends like some of the more descriptive scenes in there. lol. I wrote something about how a character died and one of my friends, a guy was all like "a girl shouldnt be able to write this, so gorey!" XD lol, I was like...it's not...really that gorey....I just described stuff out of the norm, I mean, its not like they have brains spewing from their head, geez! XD they dont btw...just incase youre wondering.. O_o
You should start writing again! The only reason I posted what I did on DA...and doubt anyone will read even if its here....was because I thought, those who read it MIGHT like it, even if it wasnt all that great

mine1987 In reply to MynameisHitsugaya [2009-03-01 05:44:44 +0000 UTC]

Nah, you don't come off as obsessive. Nerds are the people that play role-playing games religiously. Nothing wrong in playing them, but they over do it. whatev
I plan to start up again. I ain't letting a good idea like that go away. I'm just waiting for life to slack off some. The editing is annoying. Constant changing and rewriting. As for freshness, that's why I take notes. Otherwise, I would forget it in a matter of days and it will disappear all together. Gore doesn't bother me... except in some extreme situations.

...My lil bro is like 10 and plays RPG's like that O_o Well...I do play Legend of Zelda alot O_o Well, not as much as I used to seeming as...when i got over my gamecube...Ikinda err...sludgehammered it
*takes an amazing pose of some sort* NEVER! let an idea escape! Editing is all too annoying, I'm trying to make something that is 5 pages into 3 T_T and it isn't going well, I just need to take away 5 more sentances but its so hard, and once done, it will be nothing like the original I put on DA T_T
Hmm..extreme situations are botehrsome T_T Ever seen Saw? Those are extreme T_T But I watch them anyway..its when my friend REPLAYS the GROSSEST scenes I cover up my fave and am like ewwwwww T_T turn it off or keep watching the movie! no replays!!! XD So gross X__x

Yeah, first time around doesn't bother me, but I don't understand people who want to watch a decapitation 50 times over. Not that it makes me sick; it's just like... why?!?
The only rpg-ing I've done lately is Mass Effect and KOTOR. Course, when I say rpg with nerds, I'm talking boards, dice, and costumes.
With editing on the first book, it's not so much staying with the original, it's about getting the story to flow the way I want it to go. Plus there's always new information that needs to be dealt with. It's like a year later I have to rewrite half of what was there originally.

MynameisHitsugaya In reply to mine1987 [2009-03-01 06:09:56 +0000 UTC]

Exactly! It's rather grotesque. In Saw II I had to see someone get their brains blown through their head 17 times...I counted. T_T
Never heard of those RPGs, sorry!^^
....I used to play Dungeons and Dragons after school in 5th and 6th grade, I even joined the club It was hilarius...I came in costume dressed as a Magus once^^
Ouch, that's rough, rewriting it...well...believe it or not, that is practically what I do, I write down enough details and dialouge to satisfy myself(even still, that still filled up around 620pages in a reg. notebook) then ...on a comp. I end up with sooooo much more O_o It's horrible. Then in the second book, something in the plot happens and they go to France, too much detail to go into now XD So, my main reason for taking French in school(deciding last year) was solely for this part in the book, and I have learned MUCH more than my professor has taught because I read books and such. So, now there's the english and french dialouge to deal with, then making sure people reading will have some way, like context clues, to at least TRY and figure out some of what is going on, I also try to use some words that are only a small varient of their english counterpart.

Yeah, I tried a little of that with Italian in my first but then I decided that was unneeded and I didn't want that part of the story in there anymore anyway.
Dungeons and Dragons is the main one I'm talking about. Not that there's anything wrong with playing it. I just find it ridiculous how some people play dnd like their life and breath depend on it.
It's like the people who play Halo 3 every waking moment of their days until they are so skilled that they become arrogant and everyone begins hating them, not because they are skilled but because they constantly tell you about it and belittle anyone that's not at the same level.

XD Hmm...well...I can't take it out now, I'm too far with it to stop it now X__x And if I took it out I'd hafta basically re-think the whole 1st book too.....I'm not about to do that. XD

Hmm...my life never depended on it in the first place, it was fun....but...I kinda stopped when the other kids(REALLY NERDY ONES) made it kinda unfun with how serious they were about it
Hmm...Ive never played any of the Halo games...but I can understand that XD My friends used to be like that sometimes when we played GH....but ....after playing a few songs and getting the hang of it...I can play expert on most songs O_o And I never even PLAY it...I'm just good And not pruod XD I feel like a mega geek! XD

That's the thing about geeks. By definition, a geek is a mega-geek. A geek is someone who has a fascination with one or more particularly unathletic or religious topics, items or stories. I would qualify as a Science Fiction/Fantasy geek because I enjoy almost every story/tv show/movie that starts with "Star" and I'm really into Narnia and Lord of the Rings. Another reason I like Trigun so much is because of the sci-fi/western element it has that isn't seen much in anime outside gundam. I'm also a video game geek simply because I play them so much.
By what I can tell so far, you are at least an anime geek.
There's nothing wrong with geeks cause everyone has such things that they simply enjoy taking part in. By not tolerating someone because they are a geek is like not tolerating someone because they really like parties or sports.
Nerds in my definition are "the other kids (that) made it kinda unfun with how serious they were about it" and dress only in kakis(spelling?), white button-up shirts, and square-framed glasses who are socially awkward and rarely miss conventions on sci-fi, fantasy, technology, etc. If any one of these essential elements are missing, it is questionable as to whether they are fully nerds or not.
Now, let me make myself clear. I don't hate nerds or tolerate anyone who torments or belittles them. I'm just simply recognizing their characteristics and qualities as I do with geeks.

Ah!!! Same here for most of that geek stuff My friends think I'ma geek cuz I'ma gurl that loves gaming Gamer gurls rawk!

Ugh....like.....LIKE CHEERLEADERS!!!!!!!!????? I cant tolerate them or their sport T_T ...oh geez....I kinda sound like Johnny there for a min T_T I really dont like them. My family tried to get me to join the squad and I was liek .."NO"

Haha, again, must agree with the nerd thing. Like I said before, I stopped liking Dungeons and Dragons because of them T_T There's this one kid who is in my French class who has the definition of a nerd....'cept for the glasses....he doesnt need glasses...so why wear them?

Nerds are no fun, but its not nice how they're the ones that get bullied, you have a point.

....We did a class play on that. This kid, he said he'd be the nerd, so he pulled his pants up WAY PAST where they should go, bought a pair of fake, square glasses, we got him a punch of pens and a pocket protecter for them, and a whole bunch of other stuff. In the play, he was beaten up XD
