haha... well it was actually kind of freaky. Because my dad was going through some old videos. I guess I had the camcorder and we were driving in the car in lower Manhattan. And I really couldn't recognize it was me... the accent was so strong...haha. But the freaky thing was that we drove under the World Trade Center and I told my dad that one day they were going to fall down.

I do remember that moment, and I guess looking back I thought they were so tall that they couldn't stand up. But still it's freaky. Maybe I'll have to dig it up sometime.

yeah. Also what was sort of weird and kind of freaky too was that I remember my family originally in like August was planning on going to the WTC and go to the top like a week after 9/11, but we cancelled like a few weeks before 9/11 because something came up.

AH! That's even MORE crazy! Honestly I'm glad y'all (: P) cancelled. Reminds me, I know a guy who was like supposed to be on one of those planes but ended up not going or something like that. So ridiculous to think about.

yeah I know. Also kind of freaky how 9/11 I could see the smoke in the distance from where I live. haha yeah I'm glad I cancelled, because who knows... I might not be here... and then you'd have one less person to comment on your amazing pictures or whatever.

Yah, that is so weird! And really scary too. We were kind of young though, I think I must have been like 9 at the time so you must have been like 11 or 12? But yah my uncle used to live in NYC back then and he could see it from his place too. And yah damn good thing you're still around!

yeah it was pretty scary considering how close it was. Even recently when I sometimes take the subway or walk around NYC I guess fear of another attack sometimes crosses my mind.

yeah I was 12, about to turn 13 (in November), and was in 8th grade. I remember also being kind of scared because my dad worked in NYC, but that day he didn't go in and also at least he worked far away.

yeah for sure. he must really feel lucky for not taking that flight.
yeah it probably was crazy... At least from what I saw. I remember actually at one point thinking about volunteering to help out, but never got a chance to.
