About Me: My name is Crystal and I'm a 22 year old California girl that lives on the computer. I just recently discovered a fairly artistic niche about myself, although I've always been into photo manipulations. I recently purchased Adobe Elements 8 and I LOVE it!! I bought a Wacom Bamboo tablet in March and continue to practice. I love what deviantART brings to the internet community and look forward to becoming a (more or less) well known artist! :]

What I'm Workin' With: I recently bought Adobe PS Elements 8, which I LOVE!! I'm getting the hang of it after using GIMP for a long while, lol. I have a Wacom Bamboo tablet that I LOVE and continue to practice with, and the rest of the work I just do with a wireless mouse. I surf a lot of the tutorials on dA for tips/suggestions until I develop my own way of doing things, but I'm always open to new ideas!

Hi I have photoshop elements 8 and want to start making horse with my software and most of the tutorials are with psh 7 or cs5 and so on is there any way u can give some tutorials on how you do your horses from start to finish......thank you very much.

I am on Horse Eden as well! You are soooo good! And you use GIMP! Would you minde doing some sort of tutorial on shading in gimp? I cna never seem to do it!

Thanks!! I appreciate it. If I can find the time, I will - but I'm still not all that great at it, either. Shading and highlighting is the most difficult part of a piece for me. In the meantime, there are TONS of tutorials on deviantART! Practice, practice, practice!! Use references to see where the shine and shadows go. (:
