Hey ~moggiethespiral , I have found in your gallery this beautiful albatross and I think it would be beautiful in a flag of a "samba school" here in Brazil. Maybe you don't know, but here it is a tradition to make parties and parades at this season, it's the Brazilian Carnival.
So, do you allow me to use it in a flag ? No money will be earned, just for the fun of the people. I will show you the final result if you give me the permission to use your beautiful artwork.
Thanks!

Yeah, you're really proficient with Inkscape, I stumbled upon your gallery when I've been looking out for fellow OotS artists and found your Marco
And you're damn good at Nethack, too. I never survived many levels after Sokoban. I survived it twice and both times *poof* an arch-lich appeared and, well... *poof*
Thumbs up for celebrating the free software culture and greetings from the country I'm glad you found out where it is
(what a crazy and probably incorrect sentence.. I hope you'll understand it ^^)

I'm only decent at Nethack because I made my brother teach me, and because I've spent way too much time playing it. But that's rough with the arch-liches, I don't think I've ever seen one above Gehennom.
Sorry about misplacing your country. It's nothing personal, I'd really like to visit it someday. If/when I go, I'll try not to be a completely idiotic tourist.
Also, your OotS art is amazing. I can never get the proportions quite right, I'll have to use yours for reference.

I'm just playing it casually, it takes no time to load and has everything an RPG needs, plus a lot of intentional and unintentional humour (I'm playing a male Valkyrie right now ^^). "Accidents" like the arch-liches almost made me explode in the beginning, but one gets used to it
Don't feel sorry, I just had to laugh a bit, because a friend who spent a year in America told me just the same that nobody knew where it is ^^ Be proud of having stepped out of that clichΓ© Also, it doesn't matter to me that much since it's not my home country.
What an honour to hear that from you! Thanks for the watch, too!
Actually I have to admit that I get the basic proportions by drawing over the comic in a background layer . I like that style too much to risk spoiling it if I relied on my eyes' judgement there Mostly it's a circle, two ovals and a rectangle, so I hope that's not too much copying from Rich.
Anyhow, I have uploaded all the SVG files and put them under CC licences, so you're encouraged to use them as templates for your proportions
