What kind of material you use for make your Shredder costume?
Where did you get dressed doll that you based the suit on?

the suit is made from eva foam , glue, and latex. i design the costume and patterned it on paper then transferred to foam sheets . 2 sizes 1/8 inch and 1/2 ince or thereabouts. basically yoga matts , shop matts and kids play matts from mt local Canadian tire /home depot
the mannequin i bought it cheap online from a local used vender. they are pricless for costume making.

oh i forgot i went from patterrn on paper to 1/8 apolstry foam from fabric shop then thin 1/8 eva foam to make it harder edged..sorry

I found you here when doing Google image searches on "how to build muscle suits." I found some old photos on my computer of Chinese artist Zhaung Huan's performance art piece "My New York". He did it in a large red body bodybuilder suit. I always thought it was a cool suit and wondered how these were made. His looks like it was made of cloth mixed with plaster or wax then painted. I really love the detail in your Venom and Carnage suits. I'd love to make one of those someday. Not based on a specific comic book character, but something original that looks like space age body armor and muscle tissue. I'll definitely be coming back to your page for some pointers if I ever actually get started on this project. Great work. Keep it up!

I was looking on google for Venom Costumes and ive seen a lot of good ones..but yours is by far the best ive seen. I was wondering also how much a venom costume would cost? I want to look awesome for comic-con! So let me know please!

heres a link to my venom build on the rpf with info, i kindve laid out my process and answered alot of questions there with ton of pics for an oversized suit like hulk. theres a hulk build i did there too if you check my threads on the rpf. (great site and resource , the rpf is an excellent builder community and source of info) and myyoutube page with lots of vids of builds .
