hey srry it took so long to reply, i dont get to go on very often, but thanx for the comment and the fav and ur welcome. my tip is to figure out ur fav method of drawing faces 1st, like im a big fan of free style but others prefer drawing a grid. but basically u just gotta practice with the parts and proportions. i started out just drawing the parts of the face then i put them together. but to be honeset im still having a lot of trouble

It's annoying cause I've always been bad at faces, so I would just never draw them and now I'm going to have to devote a lot of time on them just to get them to look normal.
Your method seems to be working for you, they're really well-drawn faces, nice shading too

I only ever draw in pencil, I wouldn't say I specialize in it, it's just the only drawing tool that's always available. I'm trying to learn how to shade properly, and I attempt colouring every now and then, but I'm not very good at either yet. I just found a big art store that I'll have to check out sooner or later, I've been relying on HB pencils for a while and wanted to pick up some actual art supplies.

sorry it tok so long for me to reply but i find it hard to find time to go on this, but i have been into art since kindergarden, as a kid i had a hard time reading or writing or speaking properly cause i would mix my vietnaese and my english, art was really the only thing that didnt have to make sense, and from there on i would draw and i actually started to get goodish in middle school.
how about you, when did start getting into art.
and i know what you mean, i usually work with pencil too, my dad always thinks im gonna make a huge mess, and i have a baby sister who gets into my art supplies, and shading is a bitch, excuss my language

Nice, it's good to see that something good came out of a difficult situation.
I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, but I only started to improve in early high school. I haven't improved too much the ast ople of years though. I think I've just about got as good as I can get on my own, so I'm going to try and find some sort of art class.
Ah yeah, little kids can make a mess sometimes.
I agree completely, shading is a bitch. I'm starting to use it a little every now and then, but I still need a lot of practice.
