Ya know how I said Dessiré was Marik's best friend, or whatever I said? Well, compared to the second "Super Boss" of Gangirox, she doesn't come close to being a good friend to him. His name is Don Drake, son of Prof. Drake. He is who gave him a Diamup, pre evo of his strongest. He is the only person in the world that is able to TIE with him, not even beat him. He is not my OC, actually. He is my friend, Hunter's. There are three "Super Bosses" in Gangirox. Derick, Don, and Marik. Yeah, Derick has Widear, and gave a Cubling to Marik as a gift, Don has Diamolf and gave him a Diamup as a gift, and he has Alfang, he gave them both a Pupice as a gift. All 3 of them have Mega Evolutions. I have a lot to say on this because it's true. When Derick moved away from Gangirox, Marik gave him a going away gift. And when he moved back, Marik saw how good he was. He recruited him to be part of his team of 4, but no one else had come this far. Derick, Don, Marik, and a blank spot. No one, to this day, has been able to join his group. That's why he went around the world, beating every one, not to be the greatest trainer of them all, but to find companions to help me through life in Gangirox. See, Marik has always been a frail boy, never been able to defend himself well. That's why he got Pupice at such a young age. Not able to protect himself in times of dire emergency. Marik only had two friends in life, and eventually, a third, fourth, fifth, then a hundred because he was friends with Max in Fusion School. Max was the popular kid, the fastest, the strongest, the most caring, loyal, and best student in that school. He never got over the fact that he had gotten more than one friend. Then you came into his life. That is what sparked his interest and desire to keep going strong. Sorry if this is a little long winded, but this is Marik's back-story and why he is how he is.
