it would be so pretty to have a pig that can be seen under a microscope. you know the other day eduardo took a frog, emilia brought it from her house in the countryside, and eduardo took it and with a long needle called desmedulador he paralized the frog and after that he removed the skin on its leg and after that he stimulated the muscle with an electrode, i think it would have been much better if he killed the frog first because it would have been the same. eduardo looks very paraphilic and also i think he doesnt know anything about what hes supposed to know. what happened to you yesterday?

oh by the way microscopes are really cool
the most fun thing i remember doing in that grade 10 science class (or maybe 9) was when i found a dead fly by the windowsill and i inspected it under the microscope, and also stuff like sugar it's all so fascinating

oh yes ive always wanted a microscope but dad and mom wanted me to become an artist or maybe a sociologist so it was just books and brushes, you know what i really liked this year? electron microscopy, light microscopy has pretty colors but em is very interesting, there are two kinds: transmission [link] with the rough endoplasmic reticulum where all your prettyproteins are made! and much prettier scanning [link] and blood cells, the bad part is that we always do this practices and cells always look the same and i think i wont be able to pass histology because it always looks the same the same the same

yikes i feel sorry for that frog
i have always felt that all animal feels pain including even insects yet there are some that are convinced otherwise, i suppose my position isn't necessarily more scientific although i figure pain receptors are very useful
i hear you do that electrode stimulation thing in high school but i never took any science classes past the mandatory one in grade 10 (my interest in science came at a later date and it was more profound than being forced to learn at school kind of thing)
yesterday i went to school and saw a slideshow that the teacher made that showed sketches popular illustrators did and how they got to the final, it was rather interesting how much they have to get tossed around by clients until the final piece sometimes
i also presented a piece i really hated and i felt i couldnt do any better and i cant seem to get my ideas across properly with the style i want to do and it's driving me nuts along with a bunch of other thingsss
where do you go to school?

how nice sometimes i miss those slideshows, do your teachers act like clients making you do things you dont want to do? what are you studying? its so haaard to be satisfied, thats one of the reasons for which i left design school, now i dont need t be satisfied, i can do do do and sometimes it looks nice and sometimes it doesnt but i dont care. and yes i took the easy way, how awfully terrible, i did that so many times. and im sure the piece is much better than you think n_n
actually i haaated science when in high school, i just studied the multiple choice and always got Cs because i thought my mind hadnt been done for science. then studied design for 4 years and then changed to medicine here in a nice hospital in buenos aires where eduardo likes to destroy the frogs medulla to avoid it feeling pain and where luis likes to nail electrodes into the rats brain. im sure animals do feel pain, what i dont know is if they have some kind of psychological suffering. theres this fly called drosophila and scientists like to mess around with their morphogenic genes (one of them is called sonic hedgehog, if its mutated in humans it causes a terrible condition called holoprosencephaly so some people want to change its name), so some flies are born with legs instead of antennae on the head and with eyes on their legs so i dont know if the mutated flies know theyre abnormal and if they suffer because of that, yess science.

im studying illustration, i switched from advertising and i only have one class that is baiscally being coached on how to become a commercial illustrator
it really is incredibly hard to be satisfied, but youre right about work looking better to other people i think
i often wonder if the artwork i see from artists i like is disowned by the person who made it or not at all like what they wanted it to turn out
i mean that must be the case rather often and while it is extremely frustrating im now thinking that it might be useful in getting me to improve
i took the easy way whenever i could too!! i had mostly just art classes at the end of high school
i also have anatomy (it is required for illustration students) and it is very fascinating, we have the chance to go to the medicine building at a huge university nearby and examine specimens, we have only been there once but it will become more frequent (the smell is awful, do they really use formaldehyde or have they changed it to something less detrimental to your health???)
i have heard of drosophilia when i was discussing evolution with a pal - he got me very interested in the subject and it sparked a new interest in science for me
your career path sounds really kool and i have considered going into medicine because of the anatomy course (but i have so many things i would like to do!)
