Thanks for looking through my gallery and leaving thoughtful comments. I appreciate it. You had some very accurate points and I could tell that you took some time to actually look into them.
PS I've liked Switchfoot since I heard 'Chem6A' a million years ago - great band.

thank you very much for the very kind comments
on the offroad areas in Iceland there is a vague road but the scenery literally changes every 5 minutes so you can drive the best route. although you shouldnt just drive where ever because its really dangerous
ill look in your gallery tomorrow and write a couple of comments.
thanks again

Oh man! What I wouldn't do to go somehwere like that! The freedom of being able to drive wherever, that'd be amazing! Especially in a place like Iceland... wow, I am so glad that you got to do something like that!

I thank you for praising my gallery in such a way. My 'unmoved by the wind' peice is special in that it was something I saw outside my window one cold morning which caused me to walk outside with my camera because the imagery, and likewise the concept, is something that struck me immediately and I knew, after that moment, would likely be gone forever. With nature photography, it is often this way; we don't really have very much control over staging as we may with otherwise to some extent have with human or object subjects; and that is what makes it ideal in the first place.

I also very much so appreciate your comment on my deviation Aprosexia. As for my thoughts, I have no history of extensive use with a film camera myself. However, I can see that there is much art in the use of a dark room to develop one's own compositions, if that is available and is the way in which one prefers to work; and likewise in the post-processing that is available in the digital medium, there is much to be said for. It really depends upon perspective and environment. I am most focused upon capturing what my inner eye sees and feels in a visual medium, and my experience thus far with my digital camera has been successfull to that extent.

I will take another look through your gallery soon.

Thanks for the comment on Village Greens as well. I totally agree with you. I think part of what makes this one feel so simple is that there aren't any roads or power lines. Just houses and fields.

Hi Grant!
Thanks for the great comment on my Rainier Mural piece. Around 20 hours total invested in this piece. I found manip'ing the original frames (@2560x1920) was unworkable, so I reduced them to 800x600, with each having some overlap. The file of these combined was around 14000x8000, then when I'd pieced it all together, I reduced it even further for display purposes.
Have a great DAy!!! Rob the Swash

hey, thank you a lot for your nice but critical comment I like those most. yeah, I thought of such a lake where the water is perfectly smooth, but to be honest, I don't think you should use terragen for water that's other than smooth I added some waves in the forground to give it at least some motion
and thanks for your fav too. I hope you have a nice evening
