I don't know how to put my thoughts into words. It's beautiful and sad and dead, really, and it's certainly left an impression on me.

I felt those three things too...

I've been doubting a lot of the ethical side of the few photos I have of that kind..

Part of me doesn't feel right for them to be up there, I don't want to disrespect the dead, or desensitize us from death. Somebody called doing such things as being like a vulture :( (Sad)
Part of me, seeing the comments on the photo you saw, is glad for the thoughts and emotions it provoked.

You don't have to reply to this..sorry I'm ranting on your page..it's just been my thoughts ~_^

Oh, no, don't worry about it! I think it's an interesting and valuable discussion to have, and if it helps you figure out your thoughts on the matter then that's all to the good.

I'm sorry you've gotten some negative feedback on the picture and on your motivations in posting it. I don't think photos of that sort are disrespectful or vulture-like, personally. I think they serve as a reminder of what life and death are really all about. I can't quite put my thoughts into words (I'll try to come back tomorrow morning and give it another shot) but it's made me think in a different way about the matter than I did before. I really appreciate you posting it in the first place.

Oh :) (Smile) Don't be worried to sooth me...I just really like to know what would be the right thing to do. That comment wasn't directed to me, it was to people who take such photos as journalists and show it on tv.
