it took me forever to get the views i have, and i got on here almost everydaysince i first signed on. and you have more than i do! (skitters off to hide, shamedly)
no matter how much shit happens, and how little you may get out of it, art should be for yourself-enjoyment and whatnot. whatever you get out of it.
all i can really say is to respect art, and your own ability to create it, and youll never fail.
to comment on the no comments-maybe you can comment on others-the whole give and receive thing. it may take some time and dedication, but i feel thats what this site is all about.
never give into that shit-trust me, its hard to get out of it. take this as a voice of experience.

Yeah, after I wrote the journal, my best friend made a new pic, and I couldn't resist comenting. So, that's definitely down the drain. Right now though, I'm kinda burned out on the whole art thing because I recently had an art teacher in school that literally told me and That we "are terrible" at art, so...I'm just kinda stuck in self doubt and am feeling kinda stressed with working my 3 jobs and everything, thanks for the support though, and I don't mean to sound so bitchy in my journals, but I just had a bad day and like...snapped, not thinking there would be such a dramatic reaction, it amazes me actually.

yeah-it seems all of us artists must stick together. if one is insulted, we all are. if one is one the brink of shattering, we all may be fated to the same if we dont help. i dont know if thats encouraging or not..XD
sigh-just dont worry. youre work IS amazing. and anyone who says otherwise is completely ignorant to what art really is. and as to them being an art teacher, dont worry. i had one exactly the same. she knew absolutely nothing. she taught me nothing for three years straight, and she sought to tell ME what I was doing wrong.
Art can never be wrong. it is never terrible if there is thought and your own perception of beauty behind it. if it reflects something, it was very much worthwhile. i see alot in your gallery. dont give up on art-you have alot of potential and talent. your color technique is amazing! dont doubt your talent. art is your own, and there is no one on this earth that can take that away.
