not going so well at all. ):
i was wondering if you have any pointers
for someone hoping to become as good as yourself.

At first I dont think it works well for anyone, the first thing I vectored was a VW Bus, and the it was not smooth at all and had no shadows or anything like that. It just takes some time getting used to the pen tool, and everything, don't worry, you'll get better.
