# About me

Sup.

I'm a nerdy teenager who writes, draws, programs, and does a bunch of other stuff. I'm learning to play guitar. I really like bottled root beer. Sometimes I knit. I can't inhabit a room for long without ending up filling it with plants. My hair is often teal blue. I am a constant tea drinker. I like Cave Story.

I'm a fangirl, but I'm often kind of shy about it because I know exactly how ridiculous the things I like are and I don't want to push them on strangers. But their ridiculousness won't stop me liking them. Liking things you like even when you know they're weird or kinda dumb is part of my personal philosophy. Thus, I shamelessly watch MLP, reread Homestuck for the fifth time, quote Terry Pratchett in public (often scaring the normal people), and keep a bunch of Sherlock soundtrack music in my YouTube playlists.

Yes, I drew that purple cat. I also like drawing betta fish now. It's become a thing, or is at least close to becoming a thing.

My web site has dumb stuff on it and a lot of sucky writing from when I was younger. I should probably clean it up, but as long as I can pawn off the suckiest writing as being by "past Rebekah" (a la Karkat) I'm not going to waste my energy feeling self-conscious about it.

Thanks! If you like mine, you should see some of the other betta art by the people who belong to that forum.

Here's a good thread to browse. All sorts of media, tons of different skill levels. Makes you realize how diverse art can be even when you're all drawing pretty much the same thing.Ā www.bettafish.com/showthread.pā€¦

Haha, I actually look at that thread sometimes. And agreed. It's pretty amazing how different each person's drawings can be. It does help that bettas are also pretty unique from each other too. Makes them that much more fun to draw.^^

Oh, and you should check this out as well if you like betta art.

That's only one thread among many. If you own a Siamese Fighting Fish, there are several people (including me) who will draw it for free.
