Well, me neither. I only wanted to put my story on here first but ended up drawing a cover (took me hours) and doing an art trade (with Taismo-89...squee!). Now I have an idea for a small series of short chibi comics because that's easy to draw. But good luck with your art style! I don't draw regularly enough to have a style...

I don't, either. I just use pencils and paper for the lineart and colour it either manually or with DA muro, but right now I'm trying out GIMP. I still love coloured pencils though...

DA muro doesn't have lines, my guide though I used it once as photoshop.

Yeah, it was really tedious to always zoom in as far as possible and draw over the traditional lining in DA muro, but since I probably won't ever do art professionally in any way the free art programs are the only thing I'll use, so Photoshop isn't an option.

Right now, I'm learning how to use Gimp. It's tedious, but with multiple layers everything is possible! I'm sure you'll manage.

Gimp is too heavy for my pc. And your right. I do a mix i draw on paper, take photo and then the rest is on PC

I just do the lineart traditionally and the coluring and shading digitally if I want to, but since I don't have a scanner all of my traditional art won't look as good.

I use photos to do the line art on pc. Then color (still looking for a shading tool to add to the program cause it doesn't have one so) can't shade and done.

I don't have a shading tool either, so I select a darker colour. I mostly open a new layer to add the shade.

You're welcome! I don't know which program you're using, but since you can't blur "across" layers I always make a "normal" layer, then a "shade" layer on top of that and a "light" layer at last. Looks pretty neat.
