I'm not tryin to pick a fight or nothin as I'm non religious and don't really care, but why is jesus always depicted as a long haired white guy with a full beard? =P (Razz)

A lot argue that he was black based on where and when he was born and lived =/

Actually, yes, He would have had darker skin, not necessarily black, but definitely not white. I have seen many paintings where he is depicted as black, brown, or with shorter hair. I thought about that when I did my painting, but I decided to paint Him in the way that people recognize Him because the message of the painting was more important to me than the accuracy of my portrayal.
