Matt went about doing his daily tasks. His arms were already aching for the long day ahead of him. He worked at his father's cleaning service company. Their jobs were mostly sweeping up after performances had ended. They offered services for any mass events. Concerts, rallies, sporting events...what have you. Specifically, he made sure get on the circus account. They didn't do many of them. The constant moving made it too expensive to keep up with. Nonetheless, he had convinced his dad to pursue the avenue. He wanted to ax it in the first year they did it. After much persistence, he only continued to do it on the condition that Matt personally supervised it.
For a nineteen-year-old, he tackled the job with much responsibility. He was always the first one to show up, and the last to leave. He impressed the other workers by always getting in the dirt. He was involved with ever!
